About Welcome to the official Facebook page of the World Famous Mumtaz, providing you with traditional Kashmiri cuisine since 1979. Story The Mumtaz story began in 1979, when Mumtaz Khan, the eldest son of the Mumtaz Family opened a small shop just four metres square on Great Horton Road in Bradford, and quickly became famous for its authentic Kashmiri Cuisine. Little did he know then, that from these humble beginnings it was to grow a multi-national food operation that spans the globe, with our flagship restaurant in Bradford. All of this has been achieved by keeping faithful to Mumtaz Khan's original recipes and continuing to use the finest ingredient in all of our produce. Mumtaz Khan, would have been proud to know that the seeds he planted all those years ago have grown to not only produce quality food but to also help others less fortunate than ourselves through the many charities we support worldwide.
