About This is the official Facebook page for the Dragon School, Oxford, a preparatory boarding and day school for boys and girls aged 4-13 years. Story The Dragon School, Oxford, is one school on two sites in North Oxford for children aged 4 -13 years old. The Dragon was founded in the late nineteenth century by a group of Oxford University dons who wanted their own children to enjoy school and understand the world around them. The School ethos has been described as ‘robust informality and relaxed rigour’. The joy of learning and the fun of childhood exploration are valued and every child is encouraged to try everything and do his or her best. The Dragon has a thriving community, with the active involvement of Old Dragons - many of whom are inspirational leaders around the world - as well as former and current staff, parents and pupils.
