About Mariners Bar & Restaurant, located in the heart of Bideford, is a friendly and informal restaurant with a lunch and evening menu and full bar service. Story The perfect setting for couples or larger parties, informal and relaxed. We have a private function room upstairs for up to 14 which is suitable for private parties or meetings. Use of the room is free of charge. All our food is cooked using fresh ingredients in our kitchen. Food is not pre-prepared and wherever possible we source local ingredients. We currently have a 5/5 (Very Good) Food Hygiene Rating. Mariners is situated in a historic building dating back to the 1700s. Originally it was built as a Mariners house! The restaurant has a rope time line around the walls with many quotes depicting Bideford's rich maritime history.
