We stock an extensive range of hardware, paint, housewares, gardening products, wood burning stoves, etc Story Baker's DIY is a family owned and run traditional hardware store located in Aberkenfig, just 2.5 miles north of Bridgend. Less than a five minute drive from junction 36 of the M4 motorway we are equidistant between Cardiff and Swansea with visitors from either city reaching us in approximately 35 minutes. We sell many traditional hardware items, stock a very wide range of paint, provide a 'while u wait' key cutting service, sell housewares, gardening products, electrical and plumbing components, hand and power tools and also wood burning stoves and flue systems. Our family has been retailing in Aberkenfig since 1876 ! We are a true family business and as such pride ourselves on the service we offer to our customers. We offer competitive pricing, quality products and good stock levels across our extensive range, some of which few other stores will stock ..... we normally have a tin bath in stock, and yes they do still sell !
