About Nova Construction is a family run business based in Gravesend specialising in domestic extensions but also covering all aspects of construction. Story Nova Construction has been producing quality home improvements for over twenty years. Founded by Mark Haran who has been joined by his son James Haran. Mark entered the building profession around 1978 when he started a city and guilds indentured apprenticeship, following successful completion he went on to further his skills on many well known and historic sites in London. After initially forming a brickwork sub-contracting company he spotted a niche in the home improvement market for a building company that produces quality along with affordability. Bar a brief two year spell lecturing at North West Kent college the rest as they say "is history". James (Jamie) Haran has followed his father into the business and has become partner. He has attended N.W.K. College and has achieved N.V.Q. level two.
