Story All of our Gentle Dental Care practices are modern and computerised with state of the art equipment. We are all NHS practice’s but are able to provide private treatment upon request. Our aim is to provide you with high quality dental treatment in a clean friendly environment. We are particularly keen to welcome families and nervous patients. All three surgeries have disabled access and facilities and mobile appointments are available. All of the surgeries have parking available. Please ring the practice as soon as possible so we can try and see you the same day. Complaints We aim to provide you with a high level of care. However if you do have any concerns or comments, please contact a member of the team or speak to our practice manager, who will try to deal with the problem as quickly as possible. A complaints policy is also displayed at reception. Zero Tolerance Patients who are rude, abusive or who exhibit threatening behaviour or actual violence will be removed from the practice list in line with the Zero Tolerance Policy. Data Protection We need to keep comprehensive and accurate personal data about our patients in order to provide them with safe and appropriate dental care. Personal data about you is held in the practice’s computer system. The information is not accessible to the public and only authorised members of staff have access to it. For further information please see our Data Protection Policy Treatment Charges Band 1: £18.50 includes an examination, diagnosis and advice. If necessary, it also includes X-rays, a scale and polish and planning for further treatment. Band 2: £50.50 includes all treatment covered by Band 1, plus additional treatment, such as fillings, root canal treatment and removing teeth (extractions). Band 3: £219 includes all treatment covered by Bands 1 and 2, plus more complex procedures, such as crowns, dentures and bridges. Private charges vary depending on the treatment required. Please note that you will be asked to make a payment on your first visit If you are on any benefits or exemptions please bring proof with you to each dental visit as this may entitle you to free treatment. Appointments To make an appointment at the practice please call in or give us a ring on 01905 799547. Reminders of appointments can be sent out via email or a text message service. Cancellation of Appointments The time of the dentists is very valuable. If you cannot keep an appointment, please give the practice 24 hours notice so that we can offer the time to another patient. Failure to do so may result in a charge.
