About Wonderful Food. Stunning Location. Story RiverView Restaurant is situated in one of the most picturesque and tranquil settings overlooking the River Tay in beautiful Dunkeld. Completely renovated and re-launched in January 2012, our team of chefs are constantly delivering amazing food with a tantalising menu on offer every day. We are proud to say that all our dishes are made in-house, from scratch, and using locally sourced produce wherever possible. The RiverView team holds membership with the Gourmet society, Scotch beef, the vegetarian society, Top Table and Slow Food Perth. We are also recommended by Taste of Perthshire. Open for lunch from 12 - 5pm and for Dinner from 5pm - 9pm seven days a week, lunch at the RiverView is informal and relaxing whilst, in the evening, candles offer a tranquil atmosphere and the mood is relaxed and sophisticated. The sumptuous lounge is a favourite location both prior to dinner where guests can enjoy an aperitif and after dinner where the relaxing, warm atmosphere offers a perfect spot to sip liqueurs and chat into “the wee sma’ oors”. Monthly, RiverView offers a superb "Grub With Us" evening where our goal is to offer a sociable evening whilst enjoying a fabulous dinner. So whether you are dining alone, eating out with friends, either a local, a tourist or even celebrating an anniversary, come and share the evening with us, enjoy some fresh conversation and possibly make new friends in a wonderful setting. A set menu of at least 4 courses includes new and exciting dishes prepared by Riverview’s resident chef and we include information on the produce and the sourcing of our ingredients.
