About Sherwood Vets - Ashford Branch Story In 1960 Brian Woodward, joined Brian Sherlock and together they purchased a large double fronted property on Staines Road West which, interestingly used to be the tollhouse beside the main road from Sunbury to Staines.Sherwood Vets is now a two branch small animal practice owned by David Platten and Max King.
