About Operating Department Practice BSc(Hons) - UCAS code: B992 Story This degree is a three year full-time course that ensures you have the necessary skills and is studied over the standard year. As an ODP student, you will develop the skills to care for patients undergoing every aspect of the surgical process as well as be able to anticipate a vast range of situations that may occur during these vulnerable times for a patient. Mission The professional register for ODPs is held by the Health and Care Professions Council. To be eligible to apply for registration you must have completed an Honours degree or Diploma of Higher Education at a centre validated by this Council.
