About West Wales Action for Mental Health is a mental health development organisation for Carmarthenshire, Pembrokeshire, and Ceredigion. Story WWAMH is a voluntary organisation, a charity, and a company limited by guarantee which supports voluntary organisations with an interest in mental health. We aim to support these organisations and members to: - Express their needs and aspirations - Participate as equal partners in the planning of services. - Improve the services and opportunities available to people with mental health problems, their families and carers. We aim to promote equal opportunities and challenge the stigma of mental illness by providing practical help and information, training and advice, working with people to develop new and existing projects and promoting good practice. Mission The WWAMH mission statement: “Working together with service users, carers, voluntary organisations, statutory providers and commissioners to improve the standards of mental health throughout West Wales”.
