About We're responsible for planning and buying the majority of health services in Coastal West Sussex. We're made up of local GPs and healthcare professionals. Story We are a clinically-led statutory NHS body, responsible for the planning and commissioning of health care services for our local area. There are now 209 clinical commissioning groups in England, and we cover the Coastal West Sussex area. We are responsible for the health of our local population (about 482,100 people), and are measured by how much we improve health outcomes.
