Looked like it hadn't dried properly and was going blue on the edges, with knife marks from previous uses which were probably full of germs! I felt sick!! Didn't complain as I was with people who were celebrating an occasion and I didn't want to make a fuss, so I asked for a plate and left the bottom of the burger that touched the board. Food was nice but the service and cleanliness needs work. I wiped the table over with a detol wipe covid safety and it had black on it. Then we were over charged, the veg burger should have been £9.50 and it said £13.95 on the bill and there was also an extra £4 for a cider we didn't order! Told them and they adjusted it, lucky we checked, how many people don't?! Update 2023: Went here again for same occasion as last year not my choice. Cleanliness was much better although I asked for a plate instead of a wooden board when I ordered. Lots of care was taken when I ordered a vegan burger to check I was happy with the ingredients so that was good, but once again I was over charged - the menu said £12.50 but I was charged £13.95 again and had to ask for a refund which was fine but a year on they still have not adjusted their till! The burger and chips I found to be very bland tho, tried to smother in vinegar but that was also watery and didn't help.
