"Woodchester Mansion is an amazing unfinished Gothic revival house in lovely Woodchester Park. Visitors can see the bare bones of the building and understand how it was constructed. The quality of the stone carving in the house is outstanding and there are many incredible carved animals for children to spot. The Mansion is also a protected breeding site for rare horseshoe bats. These inhabit the attics and can be seen live on our world-class CCTV system.The Mansion is open to the public on Friday, Saturday and Sunday and bank holidays April to end October. There is a cafe on these days and other events are also held - see website for details, and for how to find us. We're in a hidden valley and not easy to find.A HOUSE LIKE NO OTHER!"
