About Medieval Market Pub serving excellent Real Ales, Craft Beers and 100% Homemade Lunches using the finest Locally Sourced Meats and Suppliers. Story The Boot is a 15th Century building in the famous market place, St Albans. We are opposite the historic Clock Tower and are in the Cathedral Quarter of St Albans. Take a break from the shops and step into a piece of real history. Crooked Low Ceilings and Log fire during the winter. We serve 8 excellent ever-changing real ales and you will find us in the CAMRA Good Beer Guide. We are also in the Oakademy of Excellence and are Cask Marque accredited. We are proud of what we serve and we are proud to support our local farm, Hedge's Farm, serving a selection of their excellent home reared produce. We also use our local butchers and Vegetable Suppliers If you want to support local business, support us and you will in-turn support our local suppliers, keeping jobs in the local community.
