About Dunbar Harbour is a small fishing and leisure port situated on the Southern approaches to the Firth of Forth. Story Situated in the South East of Scotland on the outer approaches to the Firth of Forth is the picturesque Dunbar Harbour. The harbour lies under the ruins of this once mighty Dunbar Castle. Dunbar Harbour is under the control of Dunbar Harbour Trust with the day to day running of the harbour being overseen by the Harbour Managment Committee. Mission Operating the harbour for the benefit of all its stakeholders including both port users and the local community. 1. maintaining and improving the harbour facilities. 2. attracting new users of the harbour and new business to the harbour. 3. advancing public education concerning the harbour. 4. providing facilities in the interest of social welfare for recreation and leisure-time occupation.
