About Hathersage outdoor heated swimming pool is in the picturesque Peak District village of Hathersage, Derbyshire. It is truly unique to the area. Story Hathersage outdoor heated swimming pool is set in a lawned enclosure with fully refurbished and covered changing facilities, Toilets, Hot showers and disabled access. Every year from March through to September It offers the opportunity to swim in the open air, amidst the glorious Peak District scenery, in water which is heated to 28°C. It is a truly unique facility with a full size band stand looking over the pool which is often in use. Every third Friday of the month during the summer the pool hosts a "Night Swim" with live bands on the band stand allowing customers to swim whilst listening to a variety of music. In 2013 the pool was voted by the Telegraph "Number 1 Lido in the UK!"
