"Founded in 1860, Edgbaston Archery & Lawn Tennis Society is a friendly, social club located in the heart of Edgbaston next to the picturesque setting of Birmingham Botanical Gardens.Informally known as "The Archery", we are the oldest lawn tennis club in the world and voted Warwickshire LTA Tennis Club of the Year 2022.We welcome new members of all ages and abilities. We offer individual and group coaching for adults and juniors, cardio tennis, and many opportunities for social tennis throughout the week. Members can book courts for free at any time there is availability. For those seeking a competitive challenge, we have strong teams of all standards playing in local, regional, and national leagues."
