"Thornton Manor Estate is a grade II listed estate built in the middle of the 19th century and surrounded by rural park land designed by Thomas Mawson. Located in the village of Thornton Hough, on the border of Wirral and Cheshire. From 1888 to the end of the 20th century the house was occupied by the Viscounts Leverhulme. Our historic estate is set amongst 120 acres of rural calm countryside.We have 14 cottages, apartments and Mews which are situated within the sprawling grounds, and are available to rent throughout the year. Our cottages are fully equipped, and some with hot tubs for a relaxing and memorable stay.We welcome dogs."
