"The People's Theatre is the leading non-professional theatre company in the North of England and one of the largest and longest-established in the country.We stage up to fourteen productions a year in our own theatre’s large Main Auditorium and in our more intimate Studio Theatre.As a genuine community theatre, we are able to give people from all walks of life the experience of participating in all aspects of theatre.Every show we do is produced entirely by our members - on stage, backstage and front of house.
