About Welcome to our page for 23 Enigma, Scotland's oldest occult shop; a magical practitioner's shop with Psychic Tarot Readers instore. Story 23 Enigma is Scotland's oldest occult shop founded in 1995. We opened our second shop, Ladywell, on the winter solstice of 2009 as our holistic shop and special place for us to hold talks and workshops in the sacred, ancient heart of Glasgow; Temple of the Moon which is in the medieval quarter of Glasgow. Glasgow: Temple of the Moon is the title of one of Ludovic MacLellan Mann's books: an amateur archaeologist who beqeathed a large collection of his finds to Glasgow museums. See the Kelvingrove Museum for incredible archaeology from our Neloithic ancestors, the first settlers of Glaschu. We hope to honour his memory and remember others like Harry Bell whose deep love of, and connection to this ancient land gave us a foundation to begin our own quests for the ancient spirit of Glasgow.
