About Simon's Chop Suey House is Chinese and Cantonese cuisine take away, based in North Shields, Tyne & Wear. We are a family run business established in 1971 Story Welcome to Simon's Chop Suey House. Simon's is a family run business which first opened it's doors with my father in 1971, my father moved here in the 60's from Hong Kong where he was from a long line of fishermen in the family. The shop became well established in the area and we have been serving the public ever since. Our aim and focus is to provide quality, authentic Chinese and Cantonese cuisine to our customers providing a top level of satisfaction. We hope you enjoy our food and look forward to your future visits. Simon Please note our opening hours, Monday is our day off and we are open all other days of the week, but on the occasion Monday is a bank holiday then the shop will be OPEN and we will close on a Wednesday, 2 days later. Also the shop may have to close for family holidays or for other reasons, with this in mind I will try and post as much notice as possible as to when this will happen along with a time period.
