About The Vedas Restaurant Established 2004 Story WELCOME TO THE VEDAS Some five thousand years ago, the sages of India discovered the medicinal propertiesof various roots, bark, leaves, seeds and flowers. They were the first to formalize andsystemize the effects and usage of these ingredients. Natural human reluctance toaccept these dictates forced the sages to incorporate these instructions into the HolyIndian Scriptures, the Vedas. Once these instructions were given a religious bias theywere more readily accepted into the Indian way of life.
