Story The London Veterinary Clinic, in the heart of London, provides primary and specialist care for companion animals and their people. Originally called the Portman Veterinary Clinic, we opened in 1973 near Portman Square to care for pets in Marylebone, Mayfair and Lisson Grove. In 1985 we moved to our present premises on York Street. Today most people and pets who visit us come from St John’s Wood, Hampstead, Highgate, Camden, Kensington, Chelsea and Hammersmith. To reflect that change the clinic name was changed to the London Veterinary Clinic.
