About Sew @ the New Sewing Box has been established for over 10 years. we sell haberdashery teach sewing at all levels, host parties and sell Elna sewing machine Story Sew @ the New Sewing Box was originally located in Huddersfield we have owned the business since 2007. We run workshops for both adults and children, host sewing and craft parties or one to one or group lessons, for dress making. The haberdashery is fully stocked with all your sewing and crafting needs, we also have lots of gorgeous fabrics which include dress fabrics, curtaining and vintage cloth. Melanie has over 40 years experience as a seamstress, making one off couture wedding dresses and outfits. She would now like to pass her skills on to you. We use Elna Sewing Machines (part of Janome UK) for all lessons which we also sell and service. All machines are sold with a 2 year guarantee and a free 1 hour session to get to know your machine.
