About The Big Screen Portsmouth is a partnership between Portsmouth City Council and The University of Portsmouth. Story The University of Portsmouth's Faculty of Creative and Cultural Industries Manage the Big Screen Portsmouth on behalf of Portsmouth City Council, including social media, live events, advertising and content. Oliver Ing is the Producer and is in charge of content, scheduling, supporting live events as well as being in charge of social media and online presence. Products We screen live broadcasts, including the Royal Opera House Ballet and Opera events. We all support local events that take place within Guildhall Square and show all major sporting events including the America's Cup and Olympic Games. We encourage local film producers to send in their content and use our platform as a way of further displaying their work.
