About We are an established independent bakery in Cornwall. Handmade artisan breads, cakes pastries baked fresh every day in Fowey. Story We are a small independent artisan bakery. Producing breads, cakes, biscuits and pastries. Everything we sell is made from scratch and baked on site. We also sell a small range of traditional bread making and baking equipment, and ingredients. Quay Bakery was born after a walk back from the local pub one afternoon took us past a 'to let' sign at 6 Webb Street. Six frantic months of planning, fundraising and cash flow forecasts later, the bakery opened its doors on 21st July 2012. After trading there for three and a half years, we were bursting at the seams and needed room to expand. We moved into the old Fowey Fish shop on Fore Street in October 2015 and have been busy baking ever since.
