About Jennings is an established family business selling hand made oriental rugs since 1960. Large stocks held on display at the Tewkesbury showrooms. We have experienced, knowledgeable and friendly staff. Story The business was started by Jack Jennings in the summer of 1960, he always had an interest in the east and used his knowledge thru travel to set up this exciting business. Clare his daughter now continues this family tradition. People are always amazed at the diversity and selection at Tewkesbury, often surprised, as it is so unusual outside London, to find so many hand Knotted pieces. The carpets are from Iran, (Persian) Afghanistan, Pakistan, Kashmir and India. Most pieces are produced using traditional home spun vegetable dyed wool. The silk pieces we have are either from Iran or Kashmir, traditionally knotted and beautifully detailed.
