About Flitwick Pre-school is a registered charity and committee run pre-school conveniently located in the centre of Flitwick. Story Our session time are Monday and Friday 9.15am-12.15pm and Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 9.15am to 3.15pm. PLEASE NOTE FROM SEPTEMBER 2017 OUR SESSION TIMES WILL BE MONDAY TO FRIDAY FROM 9.15AM TO 3.15PM. We offer places to children from 2 years old (the term following a child's 2nd birthday). We are also registered to offer places under the Government 2 year funding programme. Maximum of 20 children per session. Mission We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage focussing on the 3 Prime Areas of Learning (Personal, Social and Emotional Development, Communication and Language and Physical Development then moving towards the 4 Specific Areas of Development (Literacy, Mathematics, Understanding the World and Expressive Arts and Design). We work closely with both our families and outside agencies to ensure the children's individual needs are met. Children engage in both child initiated play and adult led activities.
