About England's Gastro pub of the year 2016 at the Food Awards England. We offer fresh and locally sourced food. Story The Sun Inn a Two AA Rosette, Mitchelin Bib Gourmand pub just outside Basingstoke offers a dining experience, different to any other. We offer an A-La Carte menu which boasts unique and initiative flavours and a Pub Classics menu which prides our familiar home favourites; all of which use fresh and locally sourced food. Visit us on a Sunday for one of our divine roast dinners - varying between Beef, Pork and Chicken. If you're visiting us with children, we have a Children's set menu at £7.95 for one course and £9.95 for two courses. Perfect for a summer’s lunchtime, our range of fresh sandwiches and a mug of homemade soup may tempt you for £6.50, which can be enjoyed in our large beer garden which also houses our childrens adventure frame.
