About Garden Centre, Growing Nursery, Café and Food Shop. Established over 30 years ago. Story Beetham Nurseries near Milnthorpe was established in 1984. The Plant, Garden Centre, Cafe, Food Shop and new Growing Nursery are family owned and run by Stephen and Lesley Abbit. The Growing Nursery is the newest addition to the family business and has been built to mark the 30th anniversary year.
