Breeding high quality livefoods since 1981. www.livefoodsdirect.co.uk Story Livefoods Direct specialises in breeding a wide range of invertebrate species including mealworms, locusts and crickets to less familiar kinds such waxworms. Each week throughout the year Livefoods Direct breeds anything from 1.5 to 3.5 tonne (peak season), of mealworms per week making us the largest producer of mealworm in the UK. Alongside this we produce up to 1,000,000 Banded Crickets, 500,000 Silent Crickets, 500,000 Black Crickets and 150,0000 locusts per week. All of our produce are handpicked daily and being DEFRA registered you can be assured our quality, freshness and cleanliness are not only guaranteed first class but are officially licensed and monitored as well. Our “Live Arrival Guarantee” means that if your order arrives and the insects are dead, we will replace as soon as possible without charge providing we are notified within 24 hours of receipt.
