Story Koi, located within the centre of Leigh, welcomes you to our warm and friendly environment. We provide the finest Japanese cuisine produced by chefs with a minimum of 20 years of experience, along with a highly recommended selection of global wine and Japanese sake. Head chef Sueharu Hamaue, originating from Kagoshima in Japan, brings over 35 years of experience in Japanese cuisine through his work as the head chef of a famous 5-star hotel in Japan and Hyatt hotels in the UK whilst using only the freshest produce to create an authentic Japanese dining experience. Our menu offers a wide variety from Sushi to Teppanyaki, including the most popular Japanese appetisers and many vegetarian dishes along with meals carefully designed for children to suit all needs. The restaurant has a fully air conditioned dining area consisting of a bar, sushi bar and a waiting area, making it ideal for all occasions, with facilities for large party bookings, where menus can be specially created on your request.
