About Independent small animal veterinary surgery maintaining the health and well being of pets in Witney and surrounding area. Story Karen Kappen started Cogges Veterinary Surgery in 1993. Her personality is stamped indelibly on the practice and everything we stand for. We have established a team of excellent and caring professionals, which consists of six veterinary surgeons, nine nurses, and a practice manager. As a veterinary nurse training centre, all our nurses are qualified or working towards their qualification. Our practice manager holds a Certificate in Veterinary Practice Management, a Professional Certificate in Management from the Open University and has more than ten years of experience in the veterinary field.
