About Beautiful medieval church in the centre of Newcastle upon Tyne. Daily services, open to visitors, concerts and other events. Story St John’s is a vibrant, friendly church, with a daily Eucharist and a strong choral tradition maintained by its excellent choir. Concerts, recitals and other events add to the cultural repertoire, and the church is set in pleasant and attractive gardens – one of the few green spaces in the city centre – which is enjoyed by the local community and visitors to the city alike.
