Their incorrect email which they must have written by gas light told me I no longer had a place on a Welding course , because I did not supply the right information and they had tried to get in touch However I know and they know that the place was released because I could not pay for the course in one go . Their systems and their staff don't seem to care about being reasonable and fair to people. In spit of a lot of people struggling to make ends meet . Granted funding for loads of courses has been cut , but there is still a lot of public money going into top tier public sector wages and perks , however that;s a topic in itself . I was prepared to pay in instalments and they offered me no dice,nThey consider getting in touch sending you a no reply text message . No one at the college made any attempt to get in touch directly to discus matter like a human being the letter for why I could not accept the offer , was misleading. I'd made efforts to get touch and explain my circumstances and they were satisfied with all the information provided , up to the offer. But I bet their incorrect response looks better for the adjudicators as it denies that someone has been excluded from joining a course due to a lack of disposable finances to pay up front.nEdinburgh college are publicly funded.
If you want to feel stupid, you should study at Edinburgh College. Unfortunately, it wastes my life and time as well, and it’s nothing benefit.The biggest problem in my life is being a student there. I had a dream and ambition but it was lost, and I have to blame myself and never forgive myself. Some teachers give you exam papers as if you understand and know. If I had known, I would not have been sitting here for long hours, leaving behind my children and my obligations. I feel really sad.However the last year was more better with good teachers than this year .
They have a great sport centre, I never knew there was a college at that location with an amazing sports facility.
So far this place making me given up and regretting go back to studying. The luck of disorder and misleading information from the staff . The staff are old and should not given advice as they still think is 1960-70 the away they treat you with rudeness.
Yeh it’s good, no problems, people are easy to get along with. Might come back to study another course :
