End of the line on the Edgware branch of the Northern Line. You can get buses from here to Hertfordshire towns like Watford and many other destinations.nnRight next door to the bus station and just a short walk from the side of the Broardwalk Shopping Centre and the rest of Edgware High Street.nnAs a station, it features a nice entrance with attractive wooden doors, and stairs and lifts down to the platforms.nnFor devotees and afficionados of The London Underground, look for the unusual non-standard typography on the signage above the Station entrance.nnThis has always puzzled me.
- Negligent staffn- Glitchy and broken top up machinesn- Display board not working, staff do and say nothingnnI have been a local for over 10 years. Here was my experience today:nnToday I was exiting the station with a small dog and a big rucksack. I tried the bigger luggage gate twice but it did not work, so I used the smaller normal gate. The dog went through first, however I became trapped in the gate. There was a member of staff opposite me chatting to another customer. He did not notice me. I had to shout a few times for him to notice. Once he noticed, he chose not to help me at all. Instead he decided to lecture me about how I should have used the bigger gate, but I already tried and it didn't work. He showed no signs of helping me so in desperation I had to detangle myself, despite having a dog on a leash on the other side. This was an extremely distressing and dangerous experience. I could have been injured. My back still hurts fr where the gate was stuck between my bag and back. I already suffer from disability and chronic pain. The member of staff showed no remorse or responsibility. I am extremely disappointed and angry at this experience.
On 13th August I met a gentleman named Neil who helped me and guided me to find a driver to bring me home after loosing my travel money and being refused in the morning on the bus. Loosing my job because of lateness from 8th August..Road closed ,underground station on Harrow Weald delay 54 min and tooked me £8 for not travelling anywhere with their trains..nFinally this gentleman helped to arrive safely at home at my children.nMany thanks and God bless this men.
The guy working on platform at 6.45 am on 2nd April was focused on his mobile phone and not the station. People walking through barriers, no fuss. Someone tries to get a child through, he became very direct and said you have to pay. Not a nice guy.
Very good service, their customer service as well as vehicles are excellent. The operators as well as drivers are quite professional and cooperative. Excellent service
