Over the years we have enjoyed stopping off at the Emporium when ever we pass through and often recommend it to our friends. The staff are always friendly & polite however the same can not be said of the proprietor! My phone was out of battery and as I was expecting an important call regarding my Aunt's deteriorating health I asked very politely would it be possible to chage my phone. If this was not possible then not a problem but the reply from the owner of the business was in a raised voice "NO ABSOLUTELY CATEGORICALLY NO!" I was shocked to say the least ar the tone that was used as there was really no need. I felt embarrassed at the atmosphere she had created not just for me but for other customers and I can not imagine what the poor staff have to put up with? If she had suggested a charge of so much for 15 minutes I would have been more than happy to pay. Needless to say we won't recommend or visit again. My Aunt has but a few days to live and would ask that this person has a little more thought for others.
