Terrible, tried to book in advance via the website for taxis to/from a wedding. No response, called them up three times and spoke to mulptiple people but nobody knew anything about the website booking. One of the people I spoke to was frankly quite rude. Do not attempt to use their website. I've gone with an alterantive compnay in the end, booked straight away.
Paid for taxi upfront as requested by bank transfer, then needed to cancel the journey, Eddie ignored all emails and has not refunded. This 'company' have stolen money from a charity. Avoid!!
I took these bad reviews with a pinch of salt, big mistake! I pre-booked a cab the day before as I needed collected at 9am. They had the cheek to call me back a few hours later and ask for a deposit to make sure I turned up, which I did. Guess who didn’t turn up, them! and even kept my tenner! Was left standing by the side of the road for an hour, by the time I got somebody out to me I missed my train. Stopped answering my calls, avoid this company at all costs! Totally useless.
The website refers to offices in Llanelli, Carmarthen, Swansea and Ammanford, and cover various areas including Llandeilo. I tried to call the Carmarthen office for a taxi in Llandeilo but it couldn't be connected, so I tried the Llanelli office. Apparently the other offices don't exist! The woman I spoke to had no idea why the other offices are on the website.
Needed to arrange a taxi back from Llanelli to Pembrey late on a Friday night so after trying local firms I opted for Eddie's cabs due to their "247" service. I contacted the firm the day before Thur to reserve my journey but was unable to get through to the number after calling multiple times so had to use their website. I received a response to my quote request very quickly but after emailing back to ask if I could confirm the journey was booked, I heard nothing up until Friday afternoon the day I needed my journey. Again, I tried to phone but the number was yet again engaged. Instead I emailed to say that I would arrange alternative transport if I didn't hear that my journey was booked by 6pm, and soon enough I got a response to confirm the time once again confirming the date because it was early hours of Saturday morning. Obviously I then assumed the journey was booked. Needless to say that 1am Saturday morning came and the taxi was nowhere to be seen, finally the number did ring for the first time but after ringing 7 times and waiting 15 minutes I obviously had to arrange alternative transport. Absolutely dreadful service, what taxi company a does not turn up and b does not answer their phone? Answer is Eddie's cabs. Avoid at all costs - shame I can't leave a 0* review.
Booked 4 days in advance of trip to train station via the web portal and no show so I missed a train and lost money. Do not rely upon these to get you anywhere L, shocking organisationServicesService not listed
Would not use this service, booked a two way trip and confirmed with them more than twice that they would come back to collect me but when i phoned because they were late coming they said nobody had written it down or would be able to come now. Absolutely terrible service and very unreliable definitely will not be using this company again
Awful experience with this taxi company pre booked my taxi for 9pm I waited outside called up asked how long taxi was going to be, she said he's on his way so I said okay, by 9.30 still no show so got my sister to call apparently she send taxi to address but nobody was home even though I was waiting outside so called again and she said must have gone to wrong address so I asked what address dis sje sent taxi to and she said I'm unsure by 10pm still no taxi so called again and I said I've been waiting outside for 1 hour , how long taxi going to be and she said she's not sending a taxi now as no-one was available. Worst company ever attitude stinks. Avoid at all cost
HORRENDOUS service, rang twice, didn't turn up in the end and point blank denied the fact I was waiting outside for them for an hour saying they were there waiting for 10 minutes. Rang another service who turned up within 5 minutes. DO NOT RECOMMEND. the fact I have to give 1 star is offensive to how we were treated by this firm.
Paid up front £160 for return for 21st birthday party. One car 30 mins late on pick up and didn't collect 5 girls at 3am even though they were paid in advance. I invited the owner to investigate & refund just £40 for the late car & the non arrival of the second car - but Owner arrogant in reply & spent over an hour playing text tennis trying to see if I could get a pragmatic result - apparently I was wrong according to the owner. DO YOUR SELF A FAVOUR AND USE ARTHURS TAXIS - they are reliable, fair, turn up when they should and they don't rip you off like this mickey mouse outfit. Look at the reviews here I am far from alone.Hope the company folds !
