Not enough stuff to serve all customers. The orders were taken quick but we have waited for 30 mins for drinks and 45 mins for burgers. Our burgers, fries and chicken wings are all cold. Burgers are not juicy. Won't come back again.
Takeaway, long wait observing what appeared to be a lot of new members of staff. Added sauce to a burger explicitly twice described to the manager in person as 'no sauce'. Portions weren't exactly generous, and ultimately felt equivalent quality food only hotter and faster could be got from McDonalds for half the price
I'm a big fan of Eddie's, and this is the third time I've eaten in this one. Food, as always, was good, and so was the service from friendly staff..... so why a 3* review? Well, the waitress who took our order walked past the table a few minutes later then sneezed, twice, into her hands. We said to each other, a few times, "please wash your hands, please wash your hands...", but no, she preceded to wipe her hands on her butt, then walk straight behind the counter and start assembling/packing take away meals. Thankfully she did not go near our food, or bring it to the table.
Waiters we're all really nice, not very nice watching them cook the food as the female chef continued to cough over food she was cooking, kept redoing her hair over food and wiping her nose with the back of her hand and never washed them. Male chef had gloves on when touching food and seem professional. Won't be back
My son was in. Ordered 2 plain veggie cheeseburgers and 2 portions of chips. Cost just over £27. The chips were like cooked potatoes. Both veggie burgers were supposed to be plain. But wernt. When he arrived home the food wasn't good at all. He was the only customer in at the time. So the order should have been cooked correctly. He phoned to complain. He was offered to come back for a replacement but had work commitments so that was that. His word wasn't good enough. Even though he phoned within 5 mins of receiving his order. £27 down the drain. Food in the bin. If your going to charge those prices and you only have the one customer in the whole place. Get the order right. He and neither will I be back. Big big disappointment. This was on 18th August 2022. My son is a type 1 diabetic and needed to eat.
1 star is generous, ordered tonight via Deliveroo, £41.34 it came to including delivery. I could have found a better meal in the lisburn dump, and it would have been a lot cheaper too. Milkshakes, no flavour, my partner and I ordered 1 Oreo and 1 choc brownie, both tasted exactly the same, just tasted like plain milk, could have got that from the fridge myself. Burgers, for the price they are, I would have expected something bigger than an ice hockey puck, also would have expected something that tastes less like cardboard garnished with flavourless junk, served between a stale-tasting burger bun. Chips, again for the price being paid, would have expected more than a 6 year old's portion, the chips tasted stale, had no flavour, the cheese sauce was flavourless and there was very little of it, the BBQ sauce tasted EXACTLY like McDonald's BBQ. The only thing that wasn't terrible or ripped off was the garlic sauce, which was mediocre at a stretch. If you want a place to waste money and more than likely get food poisoning from what tastes like badly expired foods, this is the place to go. To the person who created the menus and prices for this restaurant, you might find you're better suited in another workplace, as long as you are kept far away from cooking, that way I think we can ensure the public's safety from the genuine garbage that you advertise as edible.
The immortal words of tennis star John McEnroe summed up our reaction to the fare served up in Lisburn’s Eddie Rockets’ restaurant at the Lisburn Leisure Centre complex recently: “You cannot be serious!” To say it was shoddy, over-priced and lacking any of the trimmings associated with burgers and hot dogs in an establishment with the worldwide reputation of Eddie Rockets would be a gross understatement. A plain flavour-less hamburger was served up on a plate no bigger than a saucer while my Hot Dog, a cool £7-50p, was a stark white featureless bread roll, and a sausage. I bought one at the Continental market at Belfast City Hall a couple of days later, £1 cheaper but in a different culinary class! The meal, which included one drink came to £18 at Eddie Rockets in Lisburn. We couldn’t get out quickly enough. Never again! I must add this was nothing like the experience - our first - at Eddie Rockets Lisburn Road, Belfast, great all-round experience, service, food and value. What a mistake choosing Eddie Rockets Lisburn for our second visit!
Lovely food, nice presentation. Plates a wee bit on the small side.. the actual plates, so if you want to cut your food you'll struggle a little bit. But we enjoyed the atmosphere and food.
The last 2 times I’ve been here I ended up walking out. Extremely long wait to be seated and an even longer wait to order/get food both times. I walked out the first time because I just couldn’t wait any longer and last week they got my order wrong 3 times before I just gave up and ate somewhere else. Save yourself the hassle and eat in one of the lovely restaurants at the other end of the complex.
great looking place, chips as hard as the road..... burgers were alright..... very expensive all round... took ages for food to arrive.... when paying the cooking staff had expressions on them like the chips tasted!!!!! At least it came with a free side..... Of Disappointment!!
