Unfortunately I’ve had two pretty bad meals from here and had to change my previous rating of 5 stars. My recent meal was the chicken maryland and it was awful, the chicken was over cooked and gave my teeth a good strength test and the coleslaw was the worst I’ve had, cheap and tasteless. The staff are lovely. I hope the place improves soon.
Who ever the man COOk is in eatwells omagh ,he should go and get training on how too cook as the chicken curry we got waS like pig slup,never did I get anything as bad in my life,hope my dog doesn't be sick as I gave it too him.that was bad enough but we had waited a half a hour.The staff in there,Tuesday evening,have not got a clue what they are doing not like other staff.sad place.
Absolutely appalling. Chips we ordered were greasy and soggy and the chicken was undercooked. This place has went remarkably downhill in recent weeks according to other people and we never quite believed it until we went ourselves. When I rang to complain about the atrocious quality of food, I asked to speak to a manager and I was transferred to another girl who I still don’t believe was the manager. She apologised and used the excuse that they were very busy to justify the horrendous food we received. I returned the food to receive a full refund and the girl on the till refunded reluctantly with a bad attitude after consulting the lady who I had spoken to on the phone. Interesting to note that this past few weeks Eatwells have had a number of poor reviews on Google and other platforms. Never ever again. This is not the Eatwells we know and loved.
Ordered curry chip with cheese on top. Chips were warm, curry sauce was physically cold and small portion, cheese not melted given the food wasn't hot. Bad show if the cook doesn't know to serve food hot. Extremely disappointed after seeing a 4 star review
Chicken fillet burger was terrible. 2 onions on it .not even a fillet just 2 thin slices of chicken ..Chips were a cold soggy mess .absolutely terrible food .
Friendly staff who worn their masks for the customers. 10min wait for food, not bad. Food was lovely. Generous portions. Very tasty
Worst chippy I ever had. I had a chicken fillet burger with lettuce and mayonnaise with chips. The mayonnaise was chunky probably out of date the chicken fillet was small it was half the size of the bap. Chips was over cooked as they overally crispy and was very dry. They also tried to offer me a 2 months out of date 7up
Burger stuff is fine but not the lasagne, is from freezer not freshly made. They put in the oven everything turn dry. So far I just had this two item. Sorry to say that, I throw away the lasagne cause is hard like plastic. Other fry stuff I think is ok. Long wait... 20-30mins.
FIRST AND LAST VISIT HERE. AVOID! I have just had the worst portion of fish and chips I have ever had the misfortune of experiencing. The chips were over cooked, to the point of being burned and they were the most appetising part of it! Now for the fish at least that's what It was sold as!... Apparently, in this establishment, a large cod consists of one small piece of "fish" and two scraggy, gold fish sized suspiciously, end pieces. All 3 pieces of this ''large cod" seemed to have been left over from the night before and refried, at least several times, since! This created an interesting approach to our national dish, leaving them coated in grease, devoid of moisture and hard enough to sink an ocean liner! My expectations of Eatwells was, surprisingly. not for haute cusine, I would in fact have settled for something vaguely edible. However, even that seems to have been beyond them. Extremely poor!
Was In this evening telephone order sent my son in to collect Got home and the sausages were black I rang and asked what to do with black sausages and was told that is how they are cooked I ate the chips and returned with the sausages mr Mc Mahon was there I showed him and said they aren’t great he never spoke I waited unto the girl was free and told her the same and said they are pretty black she said they weren’t really black Terrible service to deal with very poor cooking skills so avoid like the plague I will try and load the picture of the great sausages
