In 2017, at 51 years old, I bought the Raleigh Motus with hub gears from Easygo Electric Bikes in Linlithgow. Gordon encouraged me to try several options available, and he is an engineer to trade and knows his stuff, so felt in safe hands from the start. This bike has got me back to the cycling activity that I did in my 20s. I have had it several months now and it has just been in today for its 1000 mile service by Gordon. The extra paid for the hub gears is well worth it. Much cleaner drive train and it seems very unlikely that the chain will drop off at any point. I am 6'2" and the 46cm frame works well, with the seat up at its highest allowed position. The whole set-up feels very comfortable and I regularly do between 20 and 30 miles at a time, and return home very content and without the sweat! The 'range' function, while useful, seems to give very conservative figures about what is left in the battery, and I find it more useful to keep an eye on the battery level rather than the range figures. This is my second e bike, and I tested several others at Easygo Bikes before buying the Motus low step with hub gears. I am very pleased and enjoy the opportunities it gives me to get out and it also lends itself well to my passion for photography, so I have many pictures taken during my rides. One issue has been the built-in lights. The rear light stopped working and needed some wiggling of wires! Eventually, the wires came loose, and have been very difficult to fix. I have now replaced the rear light with a rechargeable light that offers 'blinking' which I prefer and think is a safer option, so I will stick with that and not worry about the fact that the wiring to the rear light seems quite vulnerable. At the service today, Gordon made good the wires so that there would not be a 'short' any time soon! In summary, I do love this bike and would recommend it to anybody wanting some inspiration and reason to get out and about. I would also recommend going to a dealer that knows his stuff, and Gordon at Easygo Bikes, Linlithgow, knows his stuff. During the service today, Gordon stripped down parts to ensure they were properly lubricated and functioning. Also got a new chain and brake pads, and he clearly showed the quality of the new parts and offered advice on ongoing maintenance. If anyone wants to look into the option of having an electric bike, or needs experienced and professional opinion, then take a trip to Linlithgow and speak to Gordon. I will be a regular customer.

Having been back to Gordon for servicing and repairs since purchasing my electric bike from him at Easygo, I can confirm that he continues to provide excellent service.

Having heard only good reports about Easygo Electric Bikes and having tramped the streets of Glasgow looking, in vane, for a committed Electric bike specialist with experience, knowledge and the kind of electric bikes Michael was looking for. We set of on our 55minute journey from Bearsden to Linlithgow and were greeted by the owner Gordon Cullen. He was more than happy to share, what seemed like, an encyclopaedic knowledge of E-Bikes. Having tried a quite a few different E-bikes Michael fell in love with a reasonably priced Raleigh Motus with all sorts of extras. Still Gordon would not let it go until he had personally given it a pre sales service. This was so thorough that we had to come back another day to pick up the bike. The whole experience left us feeling quite elated. Absolutely Maximum help and enthusiasm from Gordon and absolutely no sales pressure whatsoever.

Just over two years ago my wife and I bought two Batribike Dash Pro folding bikes from Gordon at EasyGo. His knowledge on the subject of electric bikes and his generosity with his time made the choice to buy here an easy one. Since then his prompt, efficient and helpful service has continued. While on holiday in a very rural area of South West France in recent weeks we damaged a tyre and were unable to locate a replacement locally. However, a quick call to Gordon at EasyGo with our problem and within 10 minutes he called back to advise that Batribike would despatch a new tyre to us in France. From my call around midday on Tuesday we received the replacement by midday Friday. Need I say more!! Thank you for such exceptional service Batribike and Gordon at EasyGo.

I recently purchased a Raleigh Motus bike with grip shifts, Gordon the owner was very helpful and knowledgeable which helped me make my choice. Unfortunately I quickly realised that the grip shifts were going to be problematic due to me having the condition of Dupeytren's contracture in my hands. I contacted Gordon to discuss the problem and he was extremely empathetic to my difficulty and said he would do some research to find out possible options which might resolve the issue. He got back to me quickly with ideas which we discussed and decided on a plan. The outcome was he obtained and fitted an alternative gear change mechanism on my lovely new ebike. His solution was to remove the grip shift and replaced it with a Shimano trigger shifter. This has been a wonderful solution and I now can enjoy me new ebike to the full. I feel that Gordon went above and beyond for me to resolve this issue and I would highly recommend Easygo bikes as an excellent company providing fantastic service.
