Well kept with pretty gardens and helpful, empathetic staff. Peaceful. You can sit in one of the gardens and think about your lost loved ones in peace.
Nicely layed out, a crematorium for burials and funerals. There is two chapels for funerals and burials. Plenty of parking with various car parks to park in, with disabled parking spaces.
A very tranquil well kept resting place. Lovely place to visit for some time to sit and think.
Visited the sanctum area today and was disgusted that the bushes are so overgrown, covering several sanctum and hanging over the path in areas. Rest of the grounds tended and well looked after why not this part. Very upsetting as I visit my dad and keep his sanctum tidy and loved
Good parking and not too far too walk
My Nan’s funeral was held at this crematorium on Friday 16th April 2021. As a result of COVID-19 restrictions only 20 could attend, which meant we as a family were heavily reliant on most of her friends and extended family watching the service via video link. Unfortunately, due to an ‘electrical component failure’ there was no sound for the whole of the service which meant anyone watching virtually was unable to listen to the service, with no sound throughout. As a close knit family, we were devastated to receive this news and more saddened at the fact that nothing was done to inform the families of those attending funerals that day, of the issue. After several phone calls from us, explaining how upset we were that there was no communication to state the error or more importantly apologise, we have been told there will be no form of compensation not that any money would bring her send off back. Disappointed, angry and upset is an understatement.
Very rude gardener. We were standing on the grass by my Father in laws tree it's his birthday the gardener drove by with a large sit on law mower. A funeral procession arrived and lots of cars parked everywhere, so we moved by hand , not riding our cycles off the road. He started shouting at the top of his voice over the noise of his mower . Lucky his widow was out of earshot.
I attended the cremation of my loving brother yesterday morning. The setting is lovely. Unfortunately, although only 3 rows back from the front, I could hardly hear anything of the Celibrant's talk or that of my family who were leading tributes to my brother. Afterwards at the Wake, I found out that I was not alone, and see that someone else has posted similar before me. Is it not possible to advise whoever leads the service how the microphones work. I feel so saddened that I had come from Essex to say Goodbye to my lovely brother and could not hear hardly a thing of the service. Your comments would be appreciated.
Plenty of parking with well kept gardens. The services that I have attended here have all been conducted in a very professional manner.
Large area for Cemetery needs and two good sized Chapels for Cremation Services. Lots of parking available. Easy to get to.
