I don't put reviews on very often, but just needed to say how terrible this taxi service is!! Booked a taxi 2 hours in advance, and still hadn't arrived 45mins later. When I phoned to see where it was, first time was told "5 mins", then 15 mins later phoned again, and was told "I don't know why you were told 5 mins, gonna be much longer than that, we are very busy!" Wouldn't even trust them to turn up!! AVOID!
I pre-booked an 8seater taxi from this company 3 weeks ahead of my son's 12th birthday party at Soccer loco on the 28/03/2015. On the phone I was told it would be £60 return from my house. However, the taxi driver we received was rude and arrogant. He said he was not going to take us unless we paid £60 one way thereby doubling the return fee I was quoted previously. I refused and then he claimed that I was to pay a £25 fee for him being there despite the fact that he had explicitly refused to take us anywhere and even told us myself, my son and his 4 friends to get out of his taxi. I have never been so humiliated and upset for the fact that his behaviour was witnessed by young children. I gave him the £25 despite then having to call another company. He ruined my son's birthday and I will definitely not be using their services again.
I phoned Eastham taxis last night to get a taxi from Eastham to Manchester airport as I live facing their office.... A gentleman answered the phone and he put the phone down as I thought we got cut off I rang back and said we must of got cut off.... The operator then swore at me and told me he was got no taxis and told me to f... Off!!! I could not believe this. I then rang back and asked for a manager he then swore at me again and slammed the phone down.... I am now taking this further as I have the recordings off these phone calls.... My friend than rang and she said you do know it's a fare for Manchester airport he replied and said oh in the case I'll see if I can try and get one to you as this is a fare we like. We don't to local fares as we would rather do something that makes us Fu*king money. We couldn't believe what we heard and advised the operator we will take our business else where. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I am now taking further advice and the Wirral globe is very interested in this story with these phone recordings.
Usually these guys were ok. But today they messed up my day. Preordered a taxi at 9:30 to go to the station at 10. The car turned up 25 mins past 10. I missed 3 trains and I was late. It's not acceptable service!
Driver turned up within less than 5 minutes. Only short drive 3 miles but I am happy with the service. Will use them again.
Wouldn't trust them to turn up, even if their lives depended on it. Notorious for not showing up or being too late than booked/estimated time and then kicking off.
Rude and disrespectful. Didn't turn up despite us being stood outside. Phoned back up, said they had been and gone and we weren't there. Phoned again and they hung up. Would never use again.
We booked a taxi for 7pm and didnt turn up until 7:40 after numerous calls asking them where it is... the driver we had didnt know how to get to chester and was driving dangerously while he was on his phone, this is how people get killed ... i would not be using this taxi service again and would not recommend it to anyone ... i'm very concerned for other people who do use this service
Taxi arrived too early, driver wasn't happy that he'd had to wait for me I turned up on time then the fare came to more than what I was told it would be when I booked it. I won't use these again.
Appalling service. Booked taxi 3 hours in advance. Despite numerous calls it had still not arrived 40 minutes after the booked time. Shocking. Do not use.
