Story

Heaps of shows, brilliant carrot cake, awesome stuff for tinies and teenies to join in (draw a lion! pretend to be a fairy! learn to tap-dance!), coffee like rocket fuel, friendly faces and great value for money - that's us!

If you're a band, or a solo artist, or a theatre company, or a fire-eater, or a troupe of tap-dancing pixies, and you want to include us in your tour dates, then that's AWESOME, but please don't flirt with us here, get in touch via phone or email as per the details below. Lovely theatre! Comfortable seating with great view of the stage. Lovely cafe downstairs where you can get lunch or a cuppa and cake. Friendly staff working throughout the theatre.nA range of things to see on their programme. Easy to book tickets online. Parking behind the theatre is pay and display and is reasonable.
Visited here throught my week away in Peebles, to see Micky 17. Upon arrival, the staff were so welcoming and friendly. A lovely lady asked us if we were there to see the film, we showed our tickets and she directed us to another lovely lady! We used the toilets before the film, and they were a little cramped but did the job.nnThe lady then guided us to the viewing section of the theatre where we would be watching the film and explained to us that there would only be a few of us watching it that night. We had a nice laugh about our expectations of the film to come before it began. The seats were a little cramped together and it felt very homely, however… the sound quality was amazing! Once the trailers began and the lights dimmed - it was like we were just at any other cinema! The sound was great, the visual was great it was a huge projector screen and the lady who guided us to our seats was sat at the back screening the film for us.nnOverall, this was a very pleasant experience. It felt like we were watching a film with some good friends of ours. Seats a little uncomfortable but that’s such an insignificant detail in the grand scheme of the experience. I thoroughly enjoyed my time here! Ps: there was also a little bench outside that was great to sit on whilst we were killing some time, as we were early
It's a nice small venue, friendly staff. Avoid the side seats close to the stage as the view is very restricted and no warnings about this when booking tickets.
This is a welcoming local community arts institution and theatre which I believe is run mostly by volunteers, with a popular well-run café and bar. Food is good with the usual light-lunch options: homemade soup, sandwiches, toasties, coffee and cake. I can't comment on the bar facility as I've not yet had the opportunity to use it.
Excellent venue , we went to seenWe Three Kings group a fabulous show well worth watching out for their return .nThe Theatre has a fantastic array of features and worth a look.
