Popped in here yesterday to collect fuel for our generator for our worksite, for Basildon Council, the staff were very helpful and cheerful, and very friendly, after being turned away from M&S 5 minutes away , for not letting me fill my containers, I was thankful, well done...
It is sad to see this slowly decay from amazing shops, lots of the big names have gone. There should be a campaign to make this great again. The car park is probably the best in the country
This is surprisingly a very massive shopping centre and it has everything going on here, especially when it comes to restaurants, supermarkets and clothing lines.nFrom McDonald's to Turkish restaurants and from Chinese to Indian restaurants are all there.nThere is a Vue Cinema now with Shops like Primark and many more.nFor buffet lovers or all kinds of meals, yes, this place has it!nAnd the transport system is a few minutes walk away.nThere is a paid parking area for visitors.nThe centre is clean and family-friendly.nIt is a place to visit during seasonal times like Christmas as there are lots of outdoor activities going on.
Review Jan 2024:nnI cannot comments too much as I have only visited at the moment due to attending dental appointments. I have also used the MacDonald on the 1st floor.nnBut from what I have seen and tried:n1 Car park access is good and widen2 lots of parking spaces and seemed properly lit every time I went there.n3 paying car park: the yellow tokens have now disappeared. This is now automatic through cameras recording your number plate. Don't forget to pay at pay machine on each floor before leaving. Screen touch sensitive and if not work go to other side.nn4 lots of shops various and facilitiesnn5 on the outside there are coffee shop Costa and banks and etcnnAll good from my point of view.
horrible basildon shopping centre with a poor selection of shops and They teenagers are terrible and can be quite evil, it depends what kind of crime. groups of kids hanging around. Doesn't feel a safe environment. School break hoilday summer until end September 2025
