Very nice Indian Restaurant with lovey staff and so delicius food. Me and my Husnabd just enjoyed dinner and all was perfect - his chicken tikka madala was one of the best as he ever ate. My salmon was amazing, soft and delicate inside, hrunchy outside, nice rice. Starters so so delisous. I can tell 100% fresh, delicous food and highly recommended. Will come back soon
Myself and my husband love the Eastern balti. The food tastes amazing. In particular the garlic chilli sauce which has a spicy sour taste, it is Beautiful the second photo shows this dish The staff go out of their way to be friendly. The whole atmosphere and decorations are perfect, will always come back here when entertaining friends.
Delicious food and nice staff. Enjoyed our dinner there.
We dined here based on a friend’s recommendation and it did not disappoint. Service was phenomenal and food was full of flavour. Can’t wait to go back.
If you're in Monaghan, you've gotta check out Eastern Balti. Never been to an Indian restaurant, but now I adore its cuisine. Amazing food, had Chicken Biryani and it was lovely. Generous portions of food, had to ask to take some of it home. Customer service is fantastic, very friendly, and welcoming with hospitality. Freebies were provided, truly shows the generosity of the workers.
I moved from Monaghan in June this year . And apart from missing Family and Friends I miss this place so much . The Staff the food is the best you'll ever find . I cannot wait to come back when I'm back home visiting . My Partner had never tried Indian Food he was hooked when I first ordered from here a few years ago after we met . And the wee smilie box faces as the Freebies . This place so deserves 5 stars and if there was a 10 star option I'd give it .
Beautiful place for a meal. Linen tablecloths and napkins. Villeroy & Boch crockery and superb glasses, to match exceptional food. What a treat. Really nice to eat in such nice surroundings. Staff very friendly and helpful. Toilets immaculate and pristine white hand towels for drying. A lovely evening out, with quality tasty food.
Cannot rate this restaurant highly enough we called in late Friday night en route from Dublin Airport to Strabane very tired and hungry We didn't have a booking but they accommodated us despite having a very busy night The food was amazing and beautifully presented Thank you the little extras Highly recommended we will definitely go back Vegetarian options: My daughter is Vegan and had several options to choose from I loved the Duck starter and the Naans were so fresh and so tasty
Absolutely delicious food. Will be back as soon as we can!. Fabulous service, complimentary starter, complimentary ice cream after. Could not ask for better. Thank you.
I ate here with a colleague recently while doing cooking demos at Taste of Monaghan festival. It was recommended to us by the guy who owned the accommodation we rented while staying in Monaghan. The menu is basic and nothing above what you will find in most Indian restaurant in Ireland. Hence 4 stars and not 5. The food was excellent, extremely enjoyable. The only fault I had was with the starters which were basic enough. We had a vegetable sharing platter to start which was just ok, though my colleague thoroughly enjoyed hers which was exactly the same as mine. She isn't a chef so obviously wouldn't be as picky as I. I spent a lot of time in India learning all about the different regional cuisines so am very picky when it comes to Indian food. Our main courses were excellent, throughly enjoyable. We were fortunate to try many as, when they found out who I was, they gave us 3 extra main courses we didn't actually order. I have since learnt that they always give a free starter or dessert to customers so even if you aren't a well known chef you will get special treatment which I think is lovely. My friend raved about the food and I really enjoyed it. They lacked a nice selection of beers which I found disappointing. They only have Cobra, which is nice enough and always good with a curry but a wider choice would have gone down well, especially as a good craft beer can go so well with the strong flavours you find in most Indian dishes. Our bill came to €65 which was excellent value for 2 starters, 2 mains, a naan and pilau rice which we shared. We were given complimentary rice and a lovely honey naan on top of 3 extra main courses and a dessert which we shared. We were also offered complimentary drinks though refused as we were due to meet a friend. If in Monaghan and you like Indian food then you really won't go wrong here. The menu is the same as most but the execution and finished dishes are better than most. The toilets were spotless and smelled fresh.
