The pier has had a lot of improvements with its new owner. The whole place looks a lot better and has had a load of repairs. It's a pleasure to walk along and we do regularly. There's lots of seating to enjoy the view and the cafe(?) at the end looks a lot better than the soul-less place it used to. Lots of arcade machines, as it used to have before the fire, but mostly the 2p ones which are fun for everyone! It's such a shame that the council and Mr Gulzar can't agree on what other attractions etc can go on there as it could be really fabulous and he's really putting a lot of work into it. (Strange they didn't seem very interested with the previous owners who let in run down)

Had a lovely walk on the pier with my husband in a wheelchair. Nice cafe to have afternoon tea and very nice craft shop with very reasonable things to buy. Very enjoyable couple of hours.

I was at the pier on a lovely day in April. Although lots of places were shut I was struck by how clean and welcoming it was and I look forward to be back in the summer. Great place to throw your cares away and live in the moment! !

Really lovely Pier! Lots of eating and amusement places, ultra clean and obviously has had loads spent by the new owners. Such a contrast to the awful Hastings Pier! Which is a featureless monstrosity. Looking like a pallet wood walkway! With a wooden building looking like an abandoned Tank? Well done Eastbourne!!!

Lovely old pier in the south of England. Nice view, close to city centre, and provides all sorts of ancient entertainment, that still seem popular to this day. Tea room is nice, and there is a night club that opens at the late hour of the night. A real joy, relaxation and peaceful part of the world.
