Perfect for a day out with the whole family. Lovely, clean place, with smiling kids all around. And if the kids are happy, the parents are too ;Visited onWeekendWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedYes
Tucked away beside the golf club is EMSR. Large car-park directly outside. There is a single track miniature railway that circles the lake. A decent length but you do only get one ride on admission. Extra rides are charged. There is also a hedge maze, a gnome garden, some water features and a walk that follows the same path as the railway.
Was very easy to get to.There is a good size car park that's right outside the entrance with disabled parking nearest to the ticket office once inside the train is right in front of you a nice ride that shows you where everything is located. There are plenty of places to picnic and the seating outside the cafe is handy for the loos the menu is adequate for most and is well priced.loads for little kids to do in separate play area's overall a good day out

A lovely little place located in the outskirts of Eastbourne. Nestled away behind a golf course this quint place offers a substantial miniature railway set around a large fishing pond. There’s plenty of parking and ticket prices includes 1 trip ok the steam train. Further trips can be purchased for reasonable prices. Under 3’s go free so for a family of 5 including an under 3 you still get change for under £30. Inside is a large seating area with various playgrounds set around the fishing pond. Two trains were running every couple of minutes when we visited which means ques are kept to a minimum. A cafe is available for hot and cold foods as well as a gift shop with all things train related. There are several small railway displays which you can operating for 20p which keeps the kids interested. The highlight is the train journey which snakes around the pond, though tunnels and Over bridges. There’s plenty of chances for waving to passers by and the kids loved the steam. Overall a good day out and well priced for what you get. Worth a visit if your into trains
We were very happy to be here! A place where you want to return. Wonderful place for kids, they loved it and didn't want to leave at the end of the day. Special thanks to Mike and Rachel for getting to know each other and chatting!Visited onWeekendWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNo
A nice railway going around a fishing lake. A model railway too in a building. There's a cafe, gift shop. I would recommend for a day out with the family!Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNot sure
I am so pleased my family discovered this wonderful attraction. Get a yearly pass for £25 and you can visit as many times as you would like. I overheard some people saying they are coming back the next day. I'm not surprised. For this price you get beautiful playgrounds and picnic areas. There is an additional charge to ride the train but it is a minimal £5 for 6 rides or £1 for each ride, I think. My 15-month-old son loves it and waves all the way around. Part of me doesn't want to promote this place as I feel it is a hidden gem, but praise is needed for such a fun family day-out.

Great fun for small kids. Railway, playground, maze, model railways and ice cream in beautiful Sussex countryside. What more could you want?
