The RNLI is just amazing. This incredible charity needs all the help it can get. Great building. Lovely shop. Friendly staff. Easy access.

My Gran used to take me here when I was little. There used to be a coin operated feature that you could feed coins in and a little boat would come out and save the sailors. Now it's just static displays but a good chance to buy something which goes to support the RNLI
Really well stocked and lots of wonderful volunteers on hand to help.
It's just a shop at the moment, museum was still inaccessible last time I visited - BUT if you peer over the counter at the back you can still read some of the plaques.
The museum was closed when we visited but we would highly recommend a browse around the shop if you're in the area. We'll try again to get a look round the museum
Unfortunately the museum was closed without notice. Sure the shop had choices - so if it is called Shop rather than museum, I would be happier.
Very welcoming atmosphere on a grey day.Lots of choice .I wanted xmas cards to have something to do in lockdown.
Good covid measures, friendly staff, but note that this was just the shop not the museum which is closed due to covid.
