Nice place to pickup fruit yourself. Although the place not looking big from outside, still larger enough for different fruits to be planted here. A surprise bonus, it located near the airport, you can try to be a planespotter and watch the aircraft take off.
Great place for fruit picking. Suffer the same as most with the plants being ground level, a lot of the larger fruits had been stood on by people walking through.
Went on Friday with some students, there were loads of strawberries to pick! We had an amazing time. We needed a taxi to get back home and a very friendly member of staff managed to get us one really quickly- thanks for everything!!!
Very friendly and helpful staff! Many thanks to the guy supervising the car park who let us walk in at 2pm to pick for an hour, as opposed to waiting an hour to pick for 2hrs at 3pm. He was right, an hour was definitely enough for two adults to fill a bucket! The two hour slot will be useful for those with kiddos, more time to wander around. There is a reservation system in place which we didn't know about beforehand so better to call ahead next time : Parking is £2 per car, and then you just choose your container bucket or blue tray at the entrance and head on in. The prices are clearly listed and fields marked with signs. We just sort of looked to see where people were standing to orient ourselves. Overall a pleasant experience, and the strawberries are lovely and sweet. Will definitely be back!
Updated: Been coming here every year since 2015. The staff are always very nice. We come for the strawberries which are always delicious. My little girls love this yearly tradition Old: Absolutely love it. Been here the past few years with my daughter and she loves it. The strawberries are delicious and excellent value for money. Kids love it ! Been here for strawberry picking and pumpkin picking, fun day out just wished there was more to spend a bit longer time but great fun for all.
It was a lucky find at the end of the season with the farm adding a couple last min days. My lil guy loved picking his own fruit and veg in the lovely well kept fields, lots of wide open space and fresh air. One added bonus was being close but not too close to the airport and actually getting to see some planes landing and taking off, something that as I child I could see from inside the airport when we were once able to just visit it for that reason....he loved this. The staff there were lovely and friendly, taking time to chat to everyone and making sure that the kids were involved. Once home, fruit & veg rinsed, it was well enjoyed..... Its true.... things fresh from the farm always taste so much better. I just wished I had picked more broccoli! This will most definitely be a place I will be visiting once the season comes around again and if you have wee ones I highly recommend it.... Brilliant outdoor fun!!
Wonderful little afternoon out. Lots of goodies to pick from too. Later in the summer there is even more fruit to pick and even some veg. The wee one had a great time and you can even watch the airplanes coming in and out as you pick. Great bounty and a great price. Will certainly be back throughout summer. Hope to see pumpkins at some point as none close to the city

Amazing Day out with the kids... getting back to nature and picking our on strawberries peas and loads of other vegetables and fruit... Super value for money.
